Nestled among towering trees on a peninsula between two lakes, Camp Wapo is an escape into a world of fun, friendship, and discovery for all ages. We celebrate opportunities to untangle from technology and encourage play.  We nurture faith and build community centered in the faith practices of the church: worship, prayer, devotions, bible study, service, caring conversations, and hospitality.

Our theme for 2024 is ALWAYS: Yesterday, Today, Forever. The theme centers on scripture from Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” and 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” At Camp Wapo, Ox Lake, and Wilderness Canoe Base, we take seriously the task of sharing God's love with campers and guests through building relationships and creating community. Our goal is for each camper and guest of any age, to depart knowing they are loved by God and cared for by all.

Please join us in kicking off this event and joining in our efforts to raise funds to support a high quality camp operation, year-round programs, and provide scholarships for families with financial need.
