Feed My Neighbor Food Pantry

A nonprofit organization

Feed My Neighbor Food Pantry was founded to address the growing problem of food insecurity in Polk County. Since opening our doors in March 2023, the pantry has seen a steady increase in people needing help, each hoping our charity can fill the gaps in their food budget.

There are no income requirements and no need to file paperwork. Instead, anyone worried about putting food on their table is invited to visit our new location on State Highway 35 in Centuria. Patrons can choose for themselves what they need from our shelves, allowing them to decide what they most need.

Feed My Neighbor began as three separate food assistance programs offered by local churches, including Faith Lutheran Church and Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, and Joy Lutheran in Centuria. Each was able to offer a limited amount of help to the community, but organizers quickly realized more could be done by combining efforts. Together, we were able to first lease a small space, then move to our new and permanent home in Centuria in October of 2023.

Feed My Neighbor is truly a community-based organization, drawing volunteers and donations from around the area. We have become a fully registered 501c3 charity with the mission of providing food to those most in need in Polk County.

We invite anyone who is able to contribute, either with donations or by volunteering. By doing so, you’ll be helping the people of Polk County to feed their neighbors when they would otherwise go hungry.
