PAWS - Protective Animal Welfare Society of WI

We are a local non-profit animal welfare organization in Western Wisconsin serving Polk, Pierce and St. Croix counties for close to 20 years.  We are 100% volunteer run and rely entirely on donations to operate our programs.

Our foster to adoption program has found forever homes for over 1,000 homeless & surrendered animals through our group of local volunteer foster homes.  

Our Spay Neuter program, we provide funding for low income or qualifying households to spay/neuter their cat/dog, as well as providing 1,000-2,000 lbs pet food and litter annually to those in need for their pets during crisis, sickness or hard financial times. Many times delivering it to their home.

We also network with other local animal welfare organization to provide solutions/resources for difficult situations involving people and animals. Sometimes it is just lending an ear to hear their needs when emotions are high before they surrender a family pet or a concerned citizen about an animal's welfare.
