STAR Education Foundation

The mission of the STAR Education Foundation is to enrich student lives and enhance education in an effort to ensure the success of our students. Your tax-deductible gifts are used for a number of programs that assure student health, participation, and engagement, as well as provide supplemental support and materials for our teachers.

With your support, we have been able to fund some large projects. One of the most popular units in the elementary school physical education program is roller skating. Costs for the rental of equipment have doubled in recent years. This year’s focus is raising funds to purchase the skates and safety gear permanently. Beyond just the classroom use, this equipment will be available for student incentives throughout the school year. The high school technical education department is already collaborating on this project to build the storage necessary to house the new equipment.
